I have a nice green 532nm Compass laser, but looking to add blue and red to do panchromatic full color plates. Film and plates are available in a couple of places. Dyes sensitize them to different laser lines. Red, Green and full color available. Ultimate plates are expensive but have best angle...
Has anyone tried holography with these single modes yet?
Usually low current just above threshold gives best stability in diodes I have read about.
So best beam would be Azix acrylic + 65 to 160 ma? (threshold to typical)
Thanks!
Jeff
Re: 1.2W Blue-Ice Lasers $120 shipped (Now available as $50 JAD KIT)
Anyone know what the polarity of the diode is? Bought one for friend and he screwed the front off and broke the wires. If the unused pin is to the right, then is positive the top or bottom? TY

Yobresal: I tried PM 3 times but it did not show that I replied. Hmmmm very frustrating.
Yes is my answer TY !!!

Way too powerful for my friend... and price is right for the 1.2W. I have a solarforce jayrob running at 1/2 power (750 mw) that he really liked. Your 1.2W Blue is just the ticket. You did not mention when more would be...
Very nice, Badger. shine it on some diamonds and see if they glow. One third of all diamonds should glow. How are you driving it? thanks for your response.

Well I was only going by the specs in a PDF. The stated bandwidth is 10 nm to each side of main wavelength. It is nice to see actual performance graphs, so ROCk on !!!! If we had a more powerful 365 UV LASER diode then we indeed would have a very narrow line. I have an inquiry sent about a 15mW...
Ok, here is the "king" of UV power LED I can find. uses 40W of power. Output is 1.6 Watts !!! @ 365nm wavelength...
