hey how cold is it where you keep your laser?
mine does the same thing but if i warm it up in my hands/pocket before hand then it works just fine.. just a couple cents before you go and destroy your host :P lemme know if it works..
(the reasons why.. to my best knowledge is that at lower temp...
well the DX one that i got about a year ago was quite good quality wise.. (considering it was about 15$ then) and i got an ledshoppe one a little later and i have to say the ledshoppe ones are of higher quality.. ive had to take apart my DX 5mW a number of times to realign the push button but...
that is possible.. and yes the blu was a PHR
im using a rckstr adj high range (130mA-430mA) red sucks dosnt burn/light matches/pop balloons/meltslashcut electrical tape etc.. (of course all blacked up) where the blu would cut tape/pop balloons/burn skin/light matches etc.. ran blu at ~130mA...
i built a LOC and it did the same exact thing :-/ mine was a LPC 20x.. but the blu-ray (i ran them both on the same driver to 'check it') burned like a b!tch where the LOC could not burn anything..
blu-ray ~ 130mA
LOC ~ 130-430mA
(rckstr adj driver)
Re: Will eyelids protect you from a high powered l
remember there is also IR coming out of a green laser (if not filtered) which can also do considerable damage to your eye

oh i agree.. i was unaware of that when i first found them ;D it looks like they are anywhere from 5$-10$+
if anyone finds a link for cheaper.. i would greatly appreciate it :)
is it a cheap green? if so all of mine have done this and they were from different places and different powers.. i think its normal if its a cheapy.. cuz i also tryed cleaning the lens and blowing it off but nothing worked.. and its gotten worse.. so yeah.. my $0.02
i found one of these inside an Imac i took apart and noticed that it was a 3.6V battery :D so i was wondering if it would work to use 2 of these in a flashlight host thats built for 1AA thus making 7.2V.. wondering if they last long enough to make it worth buying some..
thanks
