OK, I had a 200mW 640nm laser module from Laser-Wave. Unfortunately, it suddenly decided to stop working. I knew instantly what went wrong, as I saw the usual LED'd diode signs. I was quite worried as the warranty sticker on the driver was void, as the switch to switch between CW and analog modulation had broke off, so I had to use tweezers to flick it over.
I emailed Bridge right away, and he said to send it back and they'd repair it.
I sent it via Austpost airmail, and it took 1 month and 1 day (!!!) to get to China! Never shipping to China with that method again ...
Anyways, Bridge got the laser back, and said it was one of the older models without the Lasorb. A few days passed, and I got another email, with my tracking number.
He had sent it back to me EMS, in a great, well protected box!
I opened it up, and peeked inside. I noticed the laser module looked a bit different, then realized he had replaced the whole module!
Anyways, long story short, Laser-Wave's customer service is top notch! Although I am a distributer and this may seem a bit biased, it truly is not, and anyone that happens to purchase from me, will receive the same treatment if they have a problem! Many people will back up Laser-Wave, and I didn't see any posts in here about them, so there you go!
