I like it.

However..

Putting the temp sensor in the fins of the heatsink, one of the hottest parts of the circuitry, is simply going to make the fan run constantly. I always put them in the "middle" of the power supply, if you know what I mean.

Thanks! I get what you mean :) at room temp and sensor in the air, the fan still runs at low speed. Even shorting the fan control input to ground only slows it down but does not stop it completely. Heating it with a soldering iron increases the fan speed but not very much so the sensor in the heatsink works just fine.

Just used this to make a power supply for my subwoofer amplifier!

Worked like a charm! This was the most comprehensive tutorial out there!
