The LC is quite deserted right now lol... I can hear the crickets from my house.

It was a great forum when I first started lurking there in April.  Things got even better with the opening of the Manufacturer's Forum.  It has gone downhill in very rapid fashion since.

LC is so quiet there since so many long-timers have been banned.  How are they "improving" the forums by banning the more knowledgable members?  I just don't get their logic.  Yeah, their forum will be clean of competitors, but there will be no one there but 12-year olds talking about "I brunt a ballon with my wickid lazzer LOL!!111!1!!1".

I believe:

By getting rid of the more knowledgable people, they set themselves up to be the only source of information...

When there is no one over there to debunk what they say, they will then be able to control the "Truth"

A Lie is not the truth just because WL wants it to be....

He who controls the information wins!

You raise some good point there, LarryQ.

However, we have set up a base elsewhere to continually debunk the FUD found on LC.  One can only hope that some will research thoroughly before purchasing lasers and look for many sources of information.

Given the choice between LC and LPF, the choice is clear now if one reads both before settling.  Most of the good, interesting posters are here now.

The thread below is a prime example of the kind of crap found on LC now.  Look for my response on page 13.  For the banned, please fire up your proxies and enjoy.

I think LC will almost just disappear if they don't fix their $#!t right now. I am going to keep coming here now because I'm bored of answering threads like "zomg i borked me lazr" and "evo o exec." There are no posts with CONTENT anymore because all the people that would lend it are here, due to their change.

Yep good point Larry !

Crossfire has got the right idea, KEEP 'EM HONEST !!

Unfortunately I won't be around much for the next 4-5 months as my bussiness is a seasonal one. We are totally swamped with work in summer(your winter for the US) and sit around twiddling our thumbs in winter, hence why i'm always on the Forum in the colder months. I'll still be on from time to time, just not very much.

So keep up the good work, I think ya's have got them on the ropes !! ;D ;D ;D

UPDATE!  After going back and forth with a poster named SHIGOGI there (he was the thread starter), I managed to generate enough heat to get the thread pulled.

He tried to scam vume.com for over $400 by uploading some pics and clicking on them for hours repeatedly to generate revenue, since the site pays content creators on a per-click basis for content uploaded.

I am surprised that he could do that, on sites like metacafe they log your ISP so a second or subsequent visit will not count as a hit.....
