Well, the nuclear situation at the Fukushima power plants has reached a "7" on the scale. Which is on par with Chernobyl. And there was a new power plant fire after the last after-shock earthquake. I hope those powerful pumps being sent to Japan are online as soon as possible. Reportedly they can spray water at a target 2 miles away.

As an true fan of japan and anime I find it really sad for japan.
I was a bit less worried though when I heard that all my friends there are ok.

I feel sorry for all the teared appart families.
With all due respect, please do not make bad jokes about this. I know this is a forum, so I'm not going to complain about it.
But 1 thing is that you should see poor families and children crying as there is nothing left for them.

Surely not whole japan is suffering from the problems though.

Kinda sucks when I had only 45 days to go before I would have went on my long vacation to japan to relax a bit after my exams and meet up with friends.

Before I even came to the point of booking though that is now canceled :/

^As hard as it may seem to stay away, it's in your best interest until some kind of containment of the reactors has occurred. Just an extremely difficult disaster to get under control to some reasonable level.
