I would want to pay $300 for one since they (as in the 510's) are outdated.

yeah the 510nm would be nice.. what are they doing now 515 or 525nm or something I read they changed somewhere... Eh still too pricey for me..

Feeler:
The Mits.300mW Multi-Mode diodes which we already know, at the same price ($39) as the Osram LDs offered in this GB. :eg:
And also: the Mits.500mW diodes at (just) double this price! :gun:

Everyone please let me know (post or PM) what the interest levels in either of these diodes are. If it looks like enough to reach the minimum order (20pcs), then I will add an option for these in the second round of the PL450B GB :beer:

Hi Id be interested in a 450 and a mits 500 if they were both available in the next GB. Cheers :beer:

Edit: Maybe write a new feeler thread for the mits diodes as not many people, other than those already on this GB, will think to look here. I think youll have a lot of interest esp at those prices. :)

Ill put myself down provided the price doesnt change too much (you wrote price to be decided). DTR sells them for 49 and I have to buy some things from him anyway. To be honest, Im more interested in the mits 500, but if I can get both in the same GB that would be fantastic. :beer:

price for the Osram PL450Bs will not be more than $39 a piece; if DTR wants to offer them at this price with 20 ordered then he's very welcome to take over my GB entirely :p
as for the mits.500 dtr, just offered them at 76$ apiece if we can get together an order of 20; so we should probably forget my source and just try for that instead :beer:

I am down for a Mitsubishi 500mW. Just wondering, is there anyone that would put my diodes from this GB in a module and put leads on them for me? I really dont feel comfortable doing it myself

I will add a Mits.500 spreadsheet to the OP within the hour. Please add your +1 to it at your convenience :)
Now since DTR offered the Mits.500s at a slightly better price and he's such a nice chap, he's taken over from my source as far as red Mits are concerned ;) so the shipments themselves will be split: red Mits from DTR (US), Blue Osrams from me (Israel).
DTR offers the 'putting in a module with leads' upgrade for an extra $9 difference on his site so I'm sure that can be arranged for your mits500 in this case too.
As for the PL450B, I can do this for you myself before shipping yours out, but we should discuss the exact terms in PM.

Alright cool. I would want both of my diodes pressed in a module with leads and a glass lens. I know DTR do the lens but will you give me one too?

Yes, I can provide a three-element glass lens AR coated for blue wavelengths and a few other things if you want, PM for details :)
