LASER DIED SO GB IS CLOSED :cryyy:

Hey guys I will be updating this with more info within the next couple days (finals suck) but I have received my sample and I am very pleased with the test results. This is an adjustable 532nm laser.

I paid $130+$48S&H for the laser w/ case, glasses, battery, charger.

The $48 S&H was DHL cost for the sample and it got here in less then a week.

I have been talking to this company for over a month about what they have to offer and I am very pleased with their products, service, and price.

Their website is in chinese lol so I have no idea what I am looking at and it doesn't do you any good.

suokeda.com

This is the email I sent tonight.

Just double checking on pricing,

ST450 - $122
ST450 w/ Case, Glasses, Battery, Charger - $130
Shipping ST450 only - $30
Shipping ST450 w/ Case, Glasses, Battery, Charger - $48

Laser Tripod - $4.20

You will accept Paypal but we have to cover the fees.
..........
Now here are my questions

1. How many orders do you need to receive this price?
2. Can each person pay individually?
3. If someone receives a defective laser (or under 200mw after subtracting infrared output), what is replacement policy?
4. Do you have the capabilities of producing a 500mw 532nm and what is an estimated price.
5. How will you be shipping the order? Will you send all the lasers in one freight or will you send them directly to the buyer. I need to know this to be able to come up with a price to tell everyone how much it will be.
6. Are you able to bring the price lower then $122 for the ST450 only. That is only $8 difference for between the two options without considering shipping.
7. Do you mind if I give others your contact information if they have questions.
8. What is the price of the ST-118 and what is its power output.
9. Do you have a website that shows all the lasers you sell? The one website only lists 3 and the other one is not in english. This way I can show everything that you offer and will hopefully bring you more business.

The link below is a slide show of LPM Graphs and Pictures. I will explain more later. The LPM readings were all over the place but consistently over 200mw+. The laser has no IR filter but when testing it with an ir pass filter the highest reading I got was 30mw. When I did a reading with goggles infront of it the reading never went above 6mw. Also you will see I took the laser apart :eg: lol and since I had to add my own touch I decided to add copper heatsinks to the driver which did seem to help stabilize the output.

Looking forward to seeing where this goes. Right now I am mainly considering Laserbtb since their prices seem good. How does this laser feel in the hand?

It feels good to me its not the heaviest laser and it's not the lightest. It does feel like a above average quality. I personal think the best route for this GB is just bare lasers minus the cases and all that. If they can drop the price to like $110 for just the laser and figure our a way to keep shipping down you are getting around a 300 mw green for $140....

I have never owned/held a laserbtb I know they have a great reputation and I am sure they are better lasers but even their sale price is hard for some to swallow

This was the first LPM, followed by the second.... after that it never got that high again. This is also why i heatsink the driver

 I know what I'm purchasing next paycheck... Here is the breakdown of the laser. Just out of curiosity, what kind of lens is that?

Re: 200mw+ 532nm GB

I am retracting the GB Mine is now outputting only 80mw.... And because I heatsinked the driver I can't return it.

It was gradually declining in output.

That sucks :/ Sorry to hear about your loss. I would say the photons are in a better place but...probably not.

Yeah they are saying it must be from improper use lol I guess I shouldn't of held it underwater while testing it! jk it is now outputing 40mw max but oh well I do have a 160mw fasttech module that have a new home now. :) just trying to stay positive lol

Holy hell that must be the highest outputting fasttech module ever!!! And now that fasttech is no longer selling those modules it is an even rarer breed.....if you ever want to sell it hit me up :)

Re: 200mw+ 532nm GB

After that whole petition for higher powered modules, they pulled all but their 5mW modules. Such a waste :(

Re: 200mw+ 532nm GB

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. I hope they are just in the process of adding them to the website... If they don't they better realize that it hurts the customer base if they do the exact opposite of what is petitioned.
