Is it normal to feel dizzy after using my glasses?

I just got my first lasers working yesterday (red and blu-ray) and I've been using my DIW protective glasses from OEM (thanks FrothyChimp). I was wearing them for about 30min while testing out my lasers and now I feel dizzy and my eyes are twitchy. Is that normal?
Also I can see the blu-ray very well through the glasses but I can't see the red at all. I'm running them both at about 70mA right now so I'm assuming I can see the blu-ray because it's output is higher then the red with that input?

It's probably eye fatigue. Looking at laser light is tiring. This is especially true if you are looking at blu-ray light.

I get headaches when viewing laser light for too long. Not only are you viewing very intense, pinpoint light (even though it is attenuated significantly) but you are also viewing the world with missing colors which can set you a bit off.

Your BR must be much more powerful than your red as the DIW is OD 3.5 for 405nm and only OD 3 for 650nm

If your running them both at 70ma that might be the problem, the blu-ray is fine at that current but the red should be ran at about 250ma which will make it much brighter and burn better.

It might be that fact that the BR is near the edge of the visible spectrum and your eyes and brain just aren't used to that wavelength

Where did you get the red diode? cause wooooooolazer is right, you are probably under driving it significantly. Which means you could get ALOT more power out of it. Unless of course, you would rather keep it at a low power.
