I bought a x-125 laser from nova.First ordering:I placed a order the laser with a case, goggles, optic accessory and the surface material kit.It was for grad so i paid for the laser and my parents payed for everything else.My parents said to use a postal money order. I looked at there info and i sent it to that address. That was the wrong address. They forgot to update it when they moved.I sent it to the real address and they got it.
How good was it:They gave a DG Time Tunnel for free. When i opened the case the first thing i said was wow!It has 1.93 mard and peaks at 155.6mw and averages at 141.6 mw.it pops balloons, lights matches and can blind people(i think).
pic coming sone.
Any thing I'm missing.

uh 1.93mRad sucks. Are you sure it isn't .93mRad? My worst green laser has 1.7ish mRad divergence.

well 1.93 is greater than 1.2 so I think it was 0.93 mRad

You could shine it in one eye, and then time how long it takes for you to go blind in that eye. Of course you can only test two lasers this way.

There is no other way to reliably test for power output than a quality LPM.

Sorry. No.

There are too many extraneous and confounding variables to try to measure the output by any easily observable phenomena.

Peace,
