Quick Question! Please help!

Ok... so I just successfully extracted the module of my CNI pen!!!
I need to short the switch.

How do I do this without solder?

Here's what I want to do:
(sorry no pictures, I dont have a camera at the moment)

I opened up the switch and there are 3 little (I'll call them leads because I dont know what else to all them...

they are arranged like this: |||

the first two need to be connected in order to short the switch. I don't have a good soldering Iron so I dont want to risk it...

any ideas???

When i'm finished with this and once i get my camera tomorrow i'll post a review of the CNI pen dissection with good macro pics of the internals and the finished project!

take a thin wire and rap it around both leds.

I'd suggest if you can't get under the pins to wrap them properly, you can trace the circuit and see what those two pins connect to... then, hopefully you can find two components nearby that have leads sticking out that you can wrap wires around (which are directly connected to the leads on the switch)

Well, that's the thing, they are flat surfaces rather than actual leads. And they are each the size of a single dash: - (except vertical).
And they are inside the switch.

You shouldn't need to open the switch... it should have wires connecting it to the circuit board.. follow these wires, and see where they go... if one of those wires connects to a through-hole component (not mounted on the surface of the board) you should be able to wrap a wire around that component's leads.

I tried to find a circuit board on google images I could use as an example but I only found this cookie...



Say you were trying to short out the LED on this board but couldn't get at its pins... you could short between the resistor below it and the capacitor above it and it would do the exact same thing as shorting out the LED.
