Module for diode ?  Where????

I'm putting together a dvd+rw laser diode into a module for pointer purposes. I'm trying to find a pointer casing that is not going to require me to focus the beam when I change distances. I'm currently using one that requires me to focus the optics every time I point it at something. Lemme tell ya this is no fun.
I've tried Aixiz based on SenKat's recommendation but they have not emailed me back for just the module without a diode.
I'm open to suggestions

Re: Module for diode ?  Where????

Get a aixiz 650nm 10mW module for about 15 bucks, take a pin push and knock the diode out with a hammer. You might need a dremel to open the hole up a little bigger but you can always use solder to hold your new diode in. If your useing a aixiz module cas though you will ahve to "focus on the fly" if you ever want to burn anything. Your laser will have a beam diameter around 6mm when focused to ininity with the aixiz module and that big of a beam will lead to very low mA/mm (milliamps per millimeter) which is the biggest player when it comes to burning. Youll need at least 2 or 3 lenses to focus the beam into a small, well collminated beam.

Re: Module for diode ?  Where????

so where do I find a high quality module that has all those lenses? I don't want to have to focus the thing. I want it universal like a default greenie. I understand that no laser is really truly colimated and has a beam divergence but i want the red to have a pretty low beam divergence.
