yes it is a filter, altering the light.... its not your web cam its a filter.

filters do work, i can make my dx green look any color, just the background looks funky

heh the sink was dry - the wires are just for TTL modulation

are you sure you're not just confusing the camera's hue/white balance compensation? filters work with incandescent lights as they emit lots of wavelengths but lasers only emit one - if you block that wavelength nothing else is gonna come out

The program i use, filters colors that you don't want and can give you any color you do want in the image.

the 200mw green in that picture is TEC cooled and it dumps the heat through a metal plate on the bottom hence the heatsink underneath
