Man, that scanner looks awesome.

Now that I've got all the pointers I'll ever need, my next thing I want to make is a scanner. First purchase will either be a 500mW green or a 1 watt green, depends how much I want to splash out, and whether I want to sell my RPL-300 to raise the funds... :-/

i sugest you buy a 150mw green and save the extra money for a 300mw red .. to start.. that and a scanpro20 or 30 is a great place to start

I've already purchased a 100mW green. So maybe I'll build the scanner with that first, and then later interchange with a more expensive module.

Though I'm still deciding whether to go a powerful green scanner or an RGB scanner. I'm thinking RGB at the moment, since those are so cool and you can do so many effects.

Hey Andy may i ask you how much is the budget for this RGB Scanner?
I think you made a really good work.
I will gladly start to build one myself, but i don't really know how much can be expensive :)

PS - pics you have posted are in a room with smoke machine, right?
