I found Rayfoss through the "Buying your first green laser pointer" sticky here and I have to say I am very impressed with what they sent!!!

I got their 150mW LED/pointer combo shipped for about $65. They hand picked one they say is 206mW and I'm inclined to believe it, this is REALLY bright and pops balloons in about 5 seconds. It is my first high powered one so I can't say for sure but I'm happy with it! It cam with a cool diffraction grating type thing that makes a star kaleidoscope effect AND they gave me some safety glasses with the laser too.
They were very communicative, answered all emails within 24 hours, and it was no more than about a week from the time I placed the order and it arrived from China. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!!

I know it's probably been reviewed before but if anyone wants to know anything specific about it I will try to help answer any questions or post pics or whatever.

You can find out if it has been reviewed before buy using the "search" button. I for one would like to see pictures and stuff if your willing to post them :)

You can post a review in the review section if you want. I dont think there is anything against posting a double review.

Anyhow, I personally am glad you enjoy your laser! I was definitely happy with mine too.

Thanks,
Jeff

I am glad you are happy with it.Be careful and don't burn up close to it...I doubt it is IR filtered.I imagine it is Epic for painting clouds!
Have fun....and remember spectators need protection too!

I tried to light a fuse with it but no dice... so perhaps it is a bit less than I thought. By painting clouds I guess you mean looking at the dot on them? I've heard rumors you can actually punch a hole in a low cloud with a powerful enough laser...
I put the glasses on when looking at the dot close but I also make sure I'm only glancing at it for a half second and then close my eyes, turn my head, put my hand over my eyes. I won't do that anymore though, the IR really scares me and even at 10 feet away on a beige wall the dot is way too bright to look at. The head it comes with... the rotating stars.. seems to invite viewing and I can't imagine everyone viewing through goggles... do the heads that split the beam like this make it safe to view at 10 feet or so or is that just asking for trouble?

I'm not sure I'd want a more powerful green laser, it is way too scary to think I may be doing damage.

how well can you see the beam during the day/lit room/and at night?

also, did it just come with goggles? or did you ask specifically for a pair

I can see it about 3-4 X as bright as my high quality 5mW I bought for about $200-300 10 years ago if that helps. It;s a very thin beam but I can't imagine you would even want anything much brighter, you could never look at the dot on a wall 10 or 20 feet away with this thing, even a decently dark colored wall... with a white wall I think you would see spots if you tried that! I specifically bargained with them to include a pair it doesn't come with them, apparently they were in a good mood that day or whatever. I'll post a review and pics here or on the other thread I started in a week or two.

Glad your enjoying your new laser.
It doesn't matter if it's been reviewed before. With more reviews, you can help us make sure the company is maintaining quality.
Especially since you received one overspec, it's good to let everyone know. Look forward to reading it ,)
