I was just wondering something.. is there any equipment where you can harvest green LD's or the only way to get them is by buying from laser shops? :) thank you all in advance

At the moment green laser diodes are still very expensive and I doubt you would be finding them in any electronics...

I know of no direct green diodes being available on the market yet, in any fashion. Either as raw diodes or in devices.

I know of a place offering them, but haven't confirmed the wavelength myself yet. They are still a little expensive though.
