We all know about the Canadian postal strikes if you are dealing with a buyer or selling located in Canada. This strike has been on-going, however I was still able to ship to Canada. Several days ago, there was a sign at USPS that they are no longer accepting packages to Canada.

CANADIAN PARLIAMENT IN SESSION TO DISCUSS BACK-TO-WORK LEGISLATION – WILL WORK THROUGH THE WEEKEND IF NECESSARY
USPS still is not accepting mail to Canada except for Global Express Guaranteed (GXG).
Legislation was introduced in the Canadian Parliament earlier in the week to force workers back to work. With contract negotiations between the union and Canada Post at a standstill, the Canadian government will now begin considering the legislation. Canada Post has notified the Postal Service that Parliament will work through the weekend if necessary to bring legislation to a vote.
USPS will begin moving into Canada all mail currently held in its network once it receives notification from Canada Post it has resumed normal operations. USPS has been in contact with Canada Post and is working on plans to ensure minimal delays.
Meanwhile, GXG still is available for delivery into Canada and remains the best option to avoid delays in service. GXG is available at thousands of retail locations across the country or through Click-N-Ship at usps.com."
