Hi guys,
I have not been so active the past few days as my Mom passed away last Saturday. I just want to say, if you do not have a will, to make sure you get one done so your loved ones can have peace of mind. My Mom was a great person who touched a lot of lives , I will never forget her.
Here is the back of her funeral brochure. It has the following statement on it and it so rings true. It is called, Living In The Now.
Follow in the footsteps of the Lord.
Walk slowly so you do not wander ahead and go astray.
Pace yourself in life just as Jesus did on earth.
Observe the earth beneath your feet and marvel in the many wonders which He has now placed around you.
Live in the moment! The past no longer exists and the Lord has yet given you the earthly gifts of tomorrow.
All you have is what He has given you now. Enjoy the now for we are but one breath away from eternal salvation.
Why worry about tomorrow when He has only given you the now?
Ask for forgiveness as though the now is all you have.
Rush not through the now, for it is fleeting and already passed.
Live in the now, not the future nor the past.
When anxiety of things that have yet to pass cause strife, you are living in the tomorrow. When you are thinking about the future, you are living in the future.
When regret, sorrow, fear and self loathing consume your thoughts you are living in the past. He who lives in either does not live in the now… they merely exist in the moment.
Do not allow the past, nor the future, to consume the now.
So what is the now?
The now is who we have become through of our past and our dreams of tomorrow.
The now is all we have. Live in the now and worry not about the past or the future for they are just thoughts in your head. We cannot change the past nor predict the future for we only physically exist in the now.
Follow in the footsteps of the Lord. Walk as He walks, rest as He rests, breath as He breaths, observe as He observes and, like the Lord Jesus Christ, you too will be living in the now.
Anyways guys, my heart is broken and I really don't know if I will have the cash to continue this hobby anymore. I will still visit and contribute where I can, I just may be less into this!
