I meant by' came out with anew driver' that Aixiz is now offering- not that the driver is new or that AixiZ invented/designed it. Its a new item on ebay AixiZ.

The AixiZ drivers do look to me to be the same as the O-Like except--this--- for 10(20 drivers total) O-like wants $80.90 and you wait for shipping from China--from AixiZ $62.70 and if in the USA you probably will have them in a few days max---@ 3.14 each delivered and replaced if any problem just as fast. -

WOW!!! :drool:what a big rip-off AixiZ is!!!

I hear those are not the best drivers in the world but just as an example.



More respect for AixiZ is due. DrLava,Eu,Jerry and EF and many other Vets are not wrong about AixiZ. my 2 cents---HZ

The laser world as it is now would not be possible if the aixiz module was not available when it was. Although a lot of perfectly fine 635nm diodes were sacrificed in the beginning ( )

I would not go that far. Sure, and Meredith had diode modules in circulation too. Maybe even before AixiZ did, but dont quote me on it.

His props comes from making the module affordable to us builders. The laser world is huge, and homemade pointers are just a mere fraction of it. If they stopped making them, only people like us would be effected. And not by much because you'd still be able to buy all the pointers you wanted. Plus there would be people like Jayrob making custom modules. So I dont think their impact is as large as you think, module wise. Laser technology is another story. I'm sure they are pioneers in the field.
