Orange/Yellow is impressive color and process that creates is even more impressive .
A bit pricy for the power output though .. .

I would like to read your impressions or comments on this unit.
It seems to be the only one in its category, and only sold by Laserglow!

Re: Thinking of getting Vega-10 . . .

I guess not very popular unit among laser enthusiasts. .
..wish it was part of Christmas bundle .. khhm hint ;) hint ;)

Does anyone know anyone who owns one?

Also, if you own Rigel yellow (<2mW) what is your opinion on it? D
Is it worth $300

Chris. said:
Only thing I would say with the Vega is that 4-5mm beam diameter @10mW will not be much fun :'(
However, the 1mm beam diameter of Rigel would be really nice as a unique classroom pointer.

Vega has beam of about 1.5mm at the output according to Laserglow. 4-5mm is a mistake and they are supposed to fix it on the web page.

oh, thanks for the link, I just red it yesterday. Great review.

In that case then I'd be pretty tempted, the price is pretty much the same as an RPL-10(Blue) and less people have yellow lasers!

Re: Thinking of getting  Vega-10 . . .

if you do, i want to hear about it. in 6 months time I intend to have 'every' colour of laser, at least every one that is readily available/ semi common. oh you know, 808 IR, red, green, yellow, 473 and 405.

and please don't ask how i intend to do that I do know its a lot of money... i have my ways :p nothing illegal. basically I have no expenses being 15 and can get a job that pays decently.

and sell some stuffs. *cough-BluRay-in-kenom-barrel-cough*

Re: Thinking of getting  Vega-10 . . .

To officially clarify: The beam diameter for the Vega is ~1.5mm, the 4-5mm spec listed on the website was a typo that we did not notice. We'll get the page updated as soon as we can, but with the holiday season I can barely keep up with my emails! If you need a quick response it's better to call me directly, at this time of year.

ohh, Beam is actually more visible in the dark/semi dark than I expected (without smoke)!!! Dot on wall is as bright as 5mW Core.
Tomorrow I'll write up a quick initial review with first pics.
