Can Anyone Identify This Near-IR Pulse Laser Diode?

Can anyone identify this reported to be 800nm Near-IR laser diode which might have been made by FLIR? I don't know what the part number is, tried searching using the numbers on the shorting bar but no joy.

The device was tested at 100 amps of current draw when producing 100us pulses with a repetition rate of 100 Hz for an average output power of 5 watts. I'm trying to find a specification sheet to see what the manufacturer ratings are.

Can you take some pics from the sides and output?

Yea, I saw those too. I don't have this diode, just researching its suitability for a future project.

Looks like a row of emitters in the center, I'm sure you see them, but the ridges on top are curious, almost like another row stacks on top or something.

Sandwich of multiple emitter bars, think several CCP bars stacked together. Metal part along the top is just shorting out the diode to prevent any ESD damage.

Anyone have an idea if the FAP800 can be pulse driven to output an order of higher power than their CW rated output?

You mean one order of magnitude higher? As in could a 40W CW diode be pulsed at up to 400W?

Yes, that's what I am wondering, if 100us pulses at 100 Hz for a 1 percent duty cycle, whether a 40 watt bar might be able to do 400 W peak output.
