Hi there,

Heres the story, me and my buddy, have gotten into the whole laser thing, and we want to build some lasers of our own,

first of all, to get a feel of how everything works etc, secondly, to use them ourselves, third, to sell them afterwards.

So, what would we need ?

Im assuming:

some diodes
some drivers
some modules
some hosts

Then hook it all up

(we can get ahold of multimeters, soldering irons, prolly even a psu, for pretty much NO money, we DONT however have (dont know what its called in english) the big a$$ tool to build custom heatsinks etc (the tool to drill the center out of a cilinder, etc))

BUT, thats about all i know, i dont know about setting the correct current, for specific diodes, what types of drivers there are, etc.

So, could someone point me into the right direction, as far as the building goes, maybe even take me under their wing ;)

As for the parts, anyone that has all these parts?, so i dont have to order from several different people?

Thx in advance.

All i would need is a host, am i correct ?

or what about lenses etc, focus knobs.

Also, what is the mw output of these ?

Host (with a heatsink), batteries, and safety glasses.

Comes with the module, diode, driver, lens, focus knob.

They're set at 1,776 mA of current. Your output power will depend on how much current you can provide them with, and also to some extent how lucky you are with the efficiency of the diode.
