Is anybody here willing to sell ANY portable green laser, fully taken apart (the actual laser module from the host) under 300AUD? All you have to do is send the host and the actual module separately to me. Minimum of 100mW.

So, you want people to rip open their lasers and send you the module?

Novel concept :)

I think he wants that so that it won't get confiscated by customs.

That's exactly why he wants it. I'm also Australian :)

So what happened with the 140mW Alpha then fresh? Didn't you decide to go through with all those customs beating tricks we came up with? ;D

Didn't want to risk it, if I got caught, my parents would kill me. Besides, I don't think ngiapy knows how to take the actual module out of the laser host.

Oh no, that Alpha 140mW was an excellent laser, not worth ripping up.

I'm sure there must be somewhere that just sells modules, have you tried looking around?

Do you think Nova lasers would do it? I highly doubt it though, unless I pay them an extra $100 or something. :-/

NOVA are a reseller. They only get complete pointers anyway, they got no modules to give you.

Though... on that note... try contacting CNI directly about it, they might have some modules available. Doesn't hurt to ask :) http://www.cnilaser.com/

Even if they do, I don't know how to pay them besides paypal, it's sad how they don't accept paypal. :'(

Heh, if I could actually manage to take apart these stupid things I might do it for a fee with a DX pointer, but damn if they are really hard to take apart, even those stupid $17 ones.

I was thinking of somebody selling me a CNI pen laser since I heard they are really easy to take apart. Then when I get it I could put it back together, perfectly legal to import it too! :)

I got a rominsen l-c030(listed as a L-030 on DX) And it would be very very easy to get the module out, when i was changing batteries one time it almost fell out, just a thought.

I know, but that's only 30mW.

Actually, today, I managed to take apart one of those Newwish lasers pointers. Slightly scuffed up the rubber, but next time I'll use some sandpaper to smooth out the grips.
