This thread has now fulfilled its purpose as I've bought a 589 from a fellow member here.

That's all folks!

I have a 589 PGL-C module I might sell...Labbies are thousands...what are you willing to pay? They're not cheap... New ones are 600- 1000+ now in many cases.

I don't have anything to sell, but I would like to chip in by saying 589nm is something your wont regret buying. I have the funds for a LaserGlow Rigel HV but would rather get a car and enjoy the wavelengths I currently have :)

I talked with kaiser about this before & 589 is mostly a hobbyist wavelength so as you know they aren't too common to see around. That being said, I wish you the best in finding the "sun" in your rainbow :) :)

Thanks for your comments, gentlemen.

I have actually had an offer via PM from one of our friends here on the forum, that I have accepted. He now needs to decide whether he really wants to sell, one of the DL 589s in the last group buy.

Alex, do carry on saving up your money. I've been a saving stalwart recently and the feeling of security that comes with having money in the bank for emergencies is very settling. This laser purchase shouldn't hurt my savings too much but at the same time it's important not to forget to live a little sometimes!

I'd agree with this. A car is better than lasers. ;)
