It is still VERY necessary for even 500mW. That is still 100 times more powerful than the safe exposure level for your eyes. you NEED eye protection at these kind of powers.

Sure, I made a group buy thread a while ago, and then a thread stating the diodes only shipped with the laser i bought to save on the shipping, but no interest.
I can only sell diodes single now, which obviously incur a shipping charge. Let me know which power u prefer and ill get a price.

I just noticed the JS307 uses ICR18650 batteries, where as the JS308 uses ICR123 or something (which is no use to me), so I'd like to know a bit more about the JS307.

You say it's collimated which is nice, but how wide is the beam at aperture, and what is the divergence like?

Also above the screenshots in page one the models say JS007 and JS008. Is it meant to say 307/308?

It is supposed to say 007/008. I renamed the actual models to allow me to quick reference them on my side :)
Ill find out about the width and divergence of the collaminated JS007 for you :).

Thanks :)

Also I think you might be out-matched by these goggles for value:

Dragon Lasers - IR goggles - OD>5 at 1064nm, OD>3 at 760-1100nm.
Dragon Lasers - Near IR goggles OD>3 at 750-850nm, OD>2 at 200-400nm.
First goggles would be my personal choice... for decent protection from the 3 popular IR bands.

Both of which provide OD>3 for your 808nm and at only US$30 / €22 / £19 ... like 33% of the price :D what OD class are the goggles you offer?

Hi Adam,
Sorry for the delay :). The divergence is 1.2mard and the beam size at apeture is 100umX1um - Im not sure if this is the information you actually reuquire, but it is all I got from the same questions you asked me :)

Also the OD (Optical Density) of the goggles are 4+ as shown in this table (see attached):

Any other information required just ask, ill try and find out for you :)

John
