That was interesting. Looks like they are trying to use these planar diamonds to control thermal effects in many high temperature electronics. Still early in their ability to do this. I look forward to seeing what they are able to do in the future. Still reminds me of the diamond powder I used in my heat sink compounds 10 years ago.

Yep. What you did was a polycrystalline method. Now imagine the efficiency and effectiveness of a monocrystalline substrate. The benefits of being able to achieve this in electronics is too great for them not to keep pushing at them. It’s between these and graphene and I feel we are going to breakthrough on diamond substrates before we do graphene.
