I had a laser related post bag today, my DX 5mw greenie, some 5mw red modules and some vibromotors from pagers without weights.......sadly my group buy LD's were not there. So what I decided to do was to make a twin motor, hand held projector. For speed of posting I will just attach a photo to the next few posts to show you what it looks like.

First up I mounted the laser through a modified 20mm cable gland to a radio spares plastic case.

The internal mounting board also shown in photo.

That's awesome! I love the 6th picture, the shape made is just amazing! And with a 5 mw no less! Very cool. What kind of control do you have over the motors, I noticed what looks like a pot on a board in one of the pics, are there two pots on the device? And, if you don't mind my asking, where did you get those motors? They seem like they're very compact, and look like they'd mount very well to a board, like you have them set up. That's a great set up you've got there. You should post a movie of what it looks like in action, that'd be really cool!

Thats really nice and compact, I had a vision of trying to make something like that someday but dont really have a workshop or the time atm.......

If you dont mind revealing your secrets a plan and a price guide might be nice for the parts as would really love to build something like that one day.
