So here is my collection. (Pardon some of the missing pictures due to the photobucket debacle)

I'm primarily posting this out here to keep track of my build threads etc.
I also want to organize all my links in one common thread in the case that anyone wants to look at something I built.

I will be updating this thread with pictures as I find them or take them.

I guess I’ll go from the lowest power hand helds to the most powerful and pickup the gas lasers at the end.

So first let’s start off with the pen lasers that I’ve built.
I’ve build a total of three or them, all of them using a simple AMS1117 SOT-223 linear regulator.

445nm: Set to 55mA to give ~40mW, I cut out a small piece of polarizing plastic from some sunglasses so that I could reduce its output from 1-35mW buy rotating the polarizer. This laser uses the NDB7242E diode from lazerman121. Runs on 2*Li-ions.

635nm: Built using a standard 5mW diode. Uses 2*Li-ions batteries.

685nm: Built using FLD6A2TK diode. Does around 19mW with a single Li-ion and 24mW with two li-ions. My build thread is here (LINK) .
Pics coming for these!

Here are my two LaserBTB lasers, 515nm is rated for 35mW and the 450nm (sold as 460nm) is rated at 100mw. 515nm does 36mW and 450nm does 94mW. I really like these because they have the safety shutter and key lock, so these are the only non-pointers that I leave the batteries in when I’m not using them.

Pman builds:
Mr. Pman sent me a bunch of parts to make these. Both do around 50mW.
The module I put in the green host puts out six lines from a cold start but goes to three after a half minute.

Then Wf-501b’s

I plan to eventually complete this set with lasers for each host in the appropriate color. So far I just have the red and violet hosts built.
660nm using LPC-826 diode doing 230mW.
405nm 100mW using PHR-805 diode.

Then my CNI 532nm 500mW.

Then we have my Krypton Grooves.

450nm with 9mm diode at 2.2A
462nm, m462 diode at 1.8A
638n using Mits’ 500mW diode at 1A

And that’s it ladies and gentlemen, those are all of my lasers…..

Diode or DPSS lasers that is.:p

Now for the gas lasers.:eg:

HeNe’s
632.8nm:
18mW SP-107. I apologize for not getting better photos, but as anyone who has tried to photograph a bare HeNe knows, it is quite hard to get the bright and dark parts clear.

543.5nm:

Pics coming...

594.1nm:
1.7mW and a NOS from Sigurthr 4.1mW.

Argon Krypton

At this latest SELEM I bought a Ar/Kr Omnichrome 643.
It should do five lines max: 676.4nm 647.1nm 568.2nm 488nm and 476.2nm.
Although I haven't got it to give 676.4nm.

The box I made for combining the two 120 phases. For the picture it is right at the lasing threshold. The lowest is 4.3A and highest is upwards of 10A.

Very nice collection Mattronium :) I like your gas lasers the most. You are lucky on owning two yellow HeNe's.

Nice collection. The gas lasers are always interesting to see compared to the standard pointers and portables.

I love my gas lasers a lot, too. Haven't really been into collecting gas laser wavelengths for the sake of just having them, though. I have about three builds waiting for me to just do them and need to get them done. Nice collection, Matt. :D

Thanks! I like my gas lasers too. :D

I like all my lasers, but I really find the mechanics of gas lasers very fascinating.
They're just so cool IMO.

To be honest, I am into collecting wavelengths. Of coarse it's not just the wavelengths, its the unique types of lasers with all their special attributes.

nice. how many lines does your 643 do? glad to see you got it working. I'd think you could get far more power out of that 107B though. should be able to do well over 25, probably well over 35mW at 11.5mA.

Nice stuff. I have just started to work on fixing the 4k images in my collection thread but it's going to be slow going to try and match the pics:(
