Have a spectra physics 107 for sale with power supply. Doing 28mw on two different meters. Includes brick type power supply. I did rock the coarse mirrors to get it to 28mw. I think spec for these was 35mw often doing more. I believe it needs a good tear down and Brewster mirror cleaning as the tube is from about 89'.
$200 or best offer. I live in michigan pickup preferred as it would cost a fortune to ship safely.

Also would consider trades for a 300mw 532, set of 30k scanners. Thanks for looking all.

I heard my name :p

I definitely have something you may want, outside of money.

All my money is going to helium-metal research, and building a matching pair with a HeSe, and a HeHg...

PM incoming, considering shipping costs, you may have a deal.

Wow, you still have this?
:bumpit:

I would get it in a second if I had the room for it. It is a thing of beauty and nothing I can say can
prepare you for seeing it in person. It's beautiful! A work of art that works.

I saw this pop up again, and was prepared to purchase it this time as I actually have a great need for it now :p

Oh well, finders keepers.

Enjoy the tube :)

It is a nice tube. enjoy! just saw this. basically the same tube as my 127, but a bit less powerful. These are epic for holography and such.

And external cavity, and 1/2B research ;) LOTS of gain to play with.

To the buyer - If you are interested in doing some fun experimentation with this thing, such as getting other lines to lase, external cavities, or other fun stuff, let me know. Plenty of opportunities beyond just some fun plasma ;)

Yes, I have thought of doing some of those experiments but I'm not sure where/how to start. I really do admire all the stuff you done.

ultimatekaiser: POLISHEDBALL originally metered it at a max of 28mw, but that was before he compared his meter with a professionally calibrated one. So with that in mind it should actually be around 33mw, but that is just an estimation on my part.

That's possible. the 107 and the 127 are the same laser basically. its the same tube, but yours is essentially the OEM//tube only version. There are two versions of each. one rated at 25mW the other is rated for 35mW. you may get more out of it, you might not. everything is heavily dependant on the mirror alignment, and the clenliness of the optics. despite them being covered all the time, they do still tend to accumulate dust. I am presently cleaning mine and havn't had time to re-align it. gonna try to find time to do it monday. They're quite hard to realign due to being so long.

As for external cavity stuff...welcome to the brewsters hene club... its rather exclusive, and now you have the potential (with a fairly large budget and patience) to pull some rather interesting tricks.
