googled for such projects, and discovered that vibrating motors from cell phones are even smaller and only 1,50 euro each.

I would be interestred to see a yet smaller one :), just a little word of caution. If I remember correctly my mirrors were around 10mm dia and if you look at the photo,s you will see that you need to hit the first one off centre to get a good spiro image, that makes keeping the whole image on the second mirror a work of art. The first one I built I got it right first time, the second one took me ages to get it right.

Sorry to take so long responding, Spencer Gifts sells the "Mighty Mini Laser Light show"  About $15  I bought it and made a hole to add other colors to the show, it came with a red laser.

jay you wanna by any chance sell your old one??


i need to start ordering parts to make mine this is an awesome little project.

also one question.

do the pager motors come with the motor holder/stands?

Sorry man... there's a lot that goes into making one of these little beauties. I've got glass at the front of each one now... to keep the dust out.

I have my Sentorch on one, and a DX 100mW on the smaller one. This smaller box is the same box that rog8811 showed. It is difficult to get everything to line up and fit in there! I use lithium batteries so that I don't have to worry about loosing charge or leaking.

An awesome project from rog8811... You will find that the reward is worth the effort! :cool:

oh and do you have an exact part number or link to the small box you used?

oh and also jay where did you get your mirrors? they look really solid!
