Just some pictures of mixing red and green, using a piece of plain glass as the splitter/combiner.
It is not a very practical approach as you get 2 beams, each with half the total power in it... but you can vary the red/green ratios by aiming for different angels, so you can make a nice yellow dot.
The spot pictured is the beam exiting on the right side of the setup photo, hitting a wall about a meter away.
