Hey all,
moond0ggie checking in, from California

I was facinated with toy red lasers, shinning them on distant road signs, through crystals & lighting up tail lights on parked cars...............
then I saw the u-tube video on how to make a burning laser from a 16x DVD-RW.

Well, after finding this forum, I'm
ready to advance to laser enthusiast!

I'm thinking of starting with a 125mW
green, but I'll do a lot of reading here to come up to speed on where to begin.

You guy's have a great forum!

Welcome aboard Sounds like you are off to a great start, acknowledging that you have TONS of reading to do If you need parts for reds - look me up (my store is in my signature) and be sure to check out the safety section, as well as the experiments and modifications section prior to starting with a DIY anything Read LOTS of reviews where folks have power meters (other reviews are simply "opinions") and state loads of measurements ! MOST of all (dang, this "welcome turned out rather long) HAVE FUN !

ha, As a matter of fact, last week I clicked on your sig, High Tech Dealz & ordered a 16x LD & aixiz
housings & then I bought some rkcstr micro drivers

I then bought some 650nm & 532nm safety glasses from pseudonomen137

I'm also waiting to recieve my DX200 red & a DX True 30mW green.


I'm learning quite a bit about lasers & safety, by reading a lot here.
