No, Seth isn't short for anything. My 1w blue is a little over spec (A little over 1100mw according to Max from lazerers LPM) and it pretty much sounds the same. Besides the fact that it doesn't burn holes in the stuff in my house because of its bad divergence :D

I think my mom said they use them for a laser they have at her work. They block almost all of the light from my 1w blue laser.
