    What would be more bright?

    thanks for all the replies, didn't even know that relative brightness calculator website was a thing its pretty cool. And thanks laserbee iv learned a lot the past 1.5 years about building lasers and have recently built a 1 ish watt 405nm laser.

    What would be more bright?

    Wanting to build the most bright or most visible laser to the human eye. Im thinking between the NUBM44 450nm @ 7 watts or the NDG7475 1W 520nm.

    Well my replacement driver comes in today I hope it all goes well I'v been waiting a long time to build my first laser best laser I'v had before this was some radio shack 10 mw green one.

    Ah yes the diode came pre wired reason I ask about the negative wires is that I'v seen some ppl saying solder it strait to the host

    I did get the one with extended copper heat sink but if it does get too hot I may move it to a bigger host and use this one for a less power build

    Im using the stainless steel from survival laser with the extension tube. DIY Stainless Steel Host Assembly, Extended and Tapered Heat Sink, Unmarked I'm liking the feel of the stainless steel goes together smooth too.

    Alright thank you for your replies and yes I don't have a proper power supply to test the diode with but I'v already ordered a new driver so I hope it all turns out good.

    I did test the output of the driver with a mutimeter and got 0 volts
