I ordered that 638nm single mode from lazerer and when i got it, it worked for 2 minutes and it kept shutting down for no reason. Tried with many full charged batteries, not working. Now it doesn't turn on at all. Same happened with my xpl 532nm. Worked fine for a month and then suddenly shut...
Imo it's going to be ALOT brighter than 500mw 532nm. People still trust the "Relative Perceived
Brightness Calculator" ? It's not even correct. It claims my 140mw 520nm dot is 1.8x brighter than my 1300mw 445nm dot. I checked and the 520nm is not even brighter lol. The 445nm is little brighter...
Lo the thread's title changed to " mystery" company xD
Btw my XPL 301 150mw 532nm stopped working... i don't know why. I don't think the diode is dead because sometimes it gets on for a split second. It's not the battery either, i tested with many different full charged batteries. What could be...
No i don't.
In all my calcucations 3 element gives 0.25 lower divergence than g7.
I'd guess with g7 u would get like 300-500mw more power than 3 element with that laser.
I'd take the 3 ele cause i like lowest divergence. Like my single mode 520nm 60mw is 0.25 mrad with 3 ele, 0.5 mrad with g7, Which one would u choose? hehe. The g7 gives so little more power it doesn't really make difference in brightness.
