If you want to make a 1W green laser you're going to have to do a lot of research and put in quite a bit of money.
If you want to burn stuff go with a blue laser thats 1W+ you'll be more satisfied for the amount you spend.
Tbh green lasers at 5mW-20mW hurt my eyes. So if youre going for a 1W...
Re: For sale: NEW 1W-2.2W 445nm 501B lasers with copper heatsink from $100
Hey Blord,
Have you got any 1W-1.4W or 1.5W-1.9W in Blue or Black?
Do you accept PayPal?
Thanks
well i mean i guess i could be selling Chinese lasers, or i could have bought one realized i got a Chinese laser, and want to return it or have them ship me the proper power module to replace.
What is sufficient proof?
I figured fighting fire with fire (false advertising vs. false proof) would...
Not to worry I completely understand where you're coming from! Hopefully I can get an LPM when I can afford it so is can get real and accurate readings ^^
Yeah, I accepted that and decided to just try testing it, I tested it about 5 times and averaged it to the low 40s. +/- 20-30mW is still nowhere near the 200mW that was advertised :p who knows I could have a 5mW laser pointer LOL my eyes can't tel the difference while wearing my green blue laser...
Well I'm sure people have a 4000mAh 4.7v battery for other lasers, it seems pretty common. I'll see if I can find someone around Sacramento- San Francisco area with an LPM. Otherwise I'll be looking for a vet to test out my laser. If it turns out that they won't refund me after too long I'll...
If it was that simple I would, but being from Hawaii there aren't many options. Shipping anything from here is hell, not to mention with a rechargeable lithium ion battery -.-
I have done tests thought up by others which have a relatively fair amount of accuracy being 15-20% off. Both tests brought me around the low 40s which I was expecting. I was very skeptical about getting a 200mW laser for around $55. All I want is a refund, but The seller (from Amazon market...
Yes that's all I need, and it is an odd request. But 40-45mW is good 50 is also fine if that's what is being read. But it can't have the actual laser pointer in the picture, but the beam is fine.
Thanks for the reply Trevor! I went ahead and check out that thread prior to starting a thread, but unfortunately I live in Hawaii and there is no reasonable way for me to meet with someone or ship anything since it costs quite a bit extra to send things with a battery and a lot of extra time...
I was looking for someone who could help me get a picture of a measurement in the low 40mW range? I need to return a laser and in order to do so I need to show them a real measurement from an LPM. I used some methods on the forums that use IR thermometers or measuring the temperature change in...
First time on the forums and I am learning a lot! But I have a request for you or any other member.
So I have also tried this method with a "200mW" green laser I bought. I was expecting somewhere around at least 100mW seeing as I purchased it for about $55 (I know cheap for a green laser of...
