Not sure if this is the right place to ask buuut...I should do it anyway.
I have a 1W blue laser diode driver from AiXiz, think you might've seen it before. Little over 10mm wide by 22.5mm long. I was wondering if the M140 that Mr. DTR sells would be able to work with it, or if the laser would...
Ooooooh, it's on the last page, that's why I didn't see it! Okay!
Yeah, I'll go ahead and start reading the stickies in the tutorial section...probably a good idea. So that's one part down. Need the heatsink/host and the laser module...okay.
Well, more like it stinks. Spent 30$ trying to get this equip, turns out the one valuable part is nearly worthless.
The PL series modules? Are those the ones you're talking about?
I'm sorry, I'm such a total noob at this, I just wanted to get into this because it seemed like something useful...
Wait, really? Well, dangit. So I bought a driver for no need lol!
Dang, kipkay's parts list is all sorts of crazy then...well. Since I apparently don't need a driver for the laser then, and the module itself is 8mm across, what do you recommend? XD
The blue laser diode has a housing attached...not sure if it's the heatsink or not. But if it's about how wide the head of the diode is across, the total housing is around 7-8mm.
Maybe I should give you links to the items I have...Might make it easier...
Trying to sift through some of the stuff now, still sorta confused on what to look for...
I see a lot of C3 information, not C6...and honestly, I'm not really looking for anything spectacular. More like just something to get this project started.
Unfortunately, all there is are parts right now. Literally. Just the driver, batteries, and then the diode itself.
So I know how to assemble and solder the thing to where it'll work. Just not totally sure on how to get a switch into the admittedly simply circuit. But what you have suggested...
Most of you are probably gonna laugh at me when I say this: I got inspiration from this, and the parts, from Kipkay videos. Seems like he's a little notorious.
At any rate, I have an AiXiZ 405/445nm, 1W Blue Laser Mini Driver, and the accompanying blue laser diode to go with it. I wanted this...
Hello everybody.
I'm new to the forums obviously. I don't like doing newcomer's stuff a lot, mostly because sometimes it' boring, unnecessary and I'm pretty sure a lot of you are bored of newcomers doing this.
Pardon if I'm missing S's. Some keys on my keyboard are a bit finicky.
At any rate...
