i have a 2.7 watt steel ice laser i bought about 6 months ago....i put it away and havent used it for 5 months. when i pulled it out today and put the battery in it turned on but was very dim. i charged the battery and it is now much brighter than before but it wont burn and the laser doesnt...
is there a trick to get the connection right? i noticed some tail caps work and some dont...on a couple if i screw the cap all the way it wont work so i have to unscrew it a turn to make it work...some are bright for a second then dim out....also some work ok then if i take the batteries out and...
if you loosen the nut the lens should fall back straight or you could unscrew the lens retainer all the way out and reposition the lens....dont touch the lens with your fingers use tweezers

you should find a job for your laser....i just got one to burn pests from my reef aquarium..lasers are the only way to kill almost every pest that can destroy a reef and you dont even have to get your hands wet...i was on the verge of taking my aquarium down before i found out about this...

is there anything different with the pointers that say newest in the discription? i just ordered a newest green and the 405 linked in the OP...is the beam of the green viewable at night? i only have a super high power (2.7w 445)laser now so it will be alot more fun with something not so...
