Oh and as a side note, my Dragon laser failed after a couple of years (think I dropped it once too many). Sent it back to Dragon Lasers (in China!) and for a reasonable fee they repaired it and quickly sent it back. Their customer service is very good too.
Yeah, I'm a dumba##, the two flat top batteries were not making contact. Then I saw the two small magnets. Tried them and it worked great. I took out the extender and used two 16340s and that works too.
Really nice laser and very well made. And as Trump would say it is Huuuuge!
And Jet Laser...
Damn, my Jet Laser PL-E Pro 520nm Diode Green Laser came in today and it apparently doesn't work. The 18650 batteries (Efest Purple IMR 18650 35A 2500mAh 3.7v Rechargeable Flat Top) fit very loose even with the plastic OD spacers they provided. The beam is very weak and if you focus it on a wall...
OK, I checked the goggles I have, they are marked 532 nm, 190-540 nm, A001-1. So I guess they are OK for 447 nm, but I don't know about the OD (optical density). Does the A001-1 refer to the OD?
They also have ANSI Z87.1 on the other temple.
Will the safety glasses I got with my Dragon Viper Series 95mW Green Laser Pointer be adequate for the Spartan Series 1W Blue Handheld Laser? I have not received the Spartan yet, so it may even come with safety glasses?
I have had the Viper for two years and it is a great laser.
Thanks
tom
Well got my Dragon Laser Viper 95. Took about 20 days. It is excellent. Very powerful. Will burn thru black plastic and is very beautiful at night. I think this is a quality laser and is incredibly powerful.
