yeah, some of the diodes has QR code on the bot or side. mine only has on the label attached to the black and red wire. this looks bigger housing then mine. i look at it under stereo microscope quiet a lot :) is there any article i can follow to measure the (power output, Vf and current) ...

i see, is there any way to measure laser diode ? like i would get closer to identifying it, if i can determine the operational voltage and amps for example.
