So I was browsing Wikipedia and I came across a photo of a U.S. Air Force guy and I wondered if the glasses he was wearing were actual laser safety glasses. Are glasses that look more like normal eyeware sold and if so where are they sold?

Hello. I'm just a high school student who finds lasers interesting. Right now I just have a few Mitsubishi ML101U29-25 diodes since they were cheap, but I'll probably get the other components (driver components, AixiZ module, etc.) eventually. And of course I'll make sure to get a pair of safety...

I'm a newb here so sorry if my question sounds newbish. Why is the person above not wearing laser safety goggles? Are the lasers shown not powerful? Also if one were to combine a few lasers to produce a "white" laser, what kind of laser goggle(s) would you have to wear?
