I may be wrong but I have a younger brother around your age and I know he and all his friends are not mature at all.
I can imagine them with some high powered laser and no safety wear.

Honestly, a 200mW laser for a 14 yearold isn't safe at all.
But I guess you'll get one anyway. Do yourself a favour and grab some safety goggles also.
In my opinion, stick to a 5mW greenie.
Lasers sold on ebay are quite often overspec (Marked lower power than said to be)
Green lasers though are really visible at night and day since our eyes are most sensitive to this wavelength.
As you can see here, green is the most visible spectrum on the chart.

Secondly lasers are not for fooling around or playing with... They are dangerous if you can't use it.
Anything over 5mW can blind instantly so safety goggles are a must.
