Dragon Lasers Aurora 5mW 589nm DPSS Portable

I just got mine in the mail about a week ago such an amazing pointer!! & That price they have it at right now is too good to pass up. Gah I wish I had a power meter though. I get a halfway decent beam (for what the laser is) in a dark setting and it lights up small, completely dark rooms enough to see where I'm going. Just curious if it's over 5mW. I know dragon lasers are usually over spec & the data sheet says the Aurora 5mW 589nm power is 1-10mW. I'd be overjoyed to have official confirmation that my glp is 10mW! Regardless though I'm satisfied I was worried I was going to be disappointed with it's visibility but it's brighter than I expected! I guess a pointer made by CNI would never really be a disappointment though okay I'm done rambling now lolol thanks for the pics! Great laser you have there!!!

I’m glad you’ve got one and that you’re happy with it. The power output varies depending on certain conditions. Temperature, battery condition, duty cycle etc. I measured 10.6mW when I measured mine last. It probably can push slightly higher than that. Probably a maximum of 14-15mW at its peak. But I haven’t verified that.
