Whats a good all around quality rechargeable 3.0V CR123 cell? Iv been told Tenergy so far.... and surefire brand for a non rechargeable? I have been told by battery experts at batteries plus its best not to even use rechargeable CR123 due to there unstability and could destroy the laser....

It could damage a laser with badly design control circuitry, as the voltage is slightly higher than that of primary lithium batteries. For most lasers this should not be much of a problem, but some flashlights use direct drive or only a resistor to limit current and those can be easily damaged using rechargables.

Good point, it did mention not to use these types of cells in sure fire devices, but I plan on using them for my spartan 1W 445nm
