Going abroad can I take my laser with me?

Hi, I am going abroad to hungary tomorrow and I was wondering If I can take my 1.2 Watt laser with me ( and safety goggles of course ) in luggage (not hand luggage) ?

Dude I just wouldn't. 1.2 Watts can be used as vveapon.
What country are you going to?

I am in Hungary, oh well i took it with me from Malta and nothing happened (can be because maltese customs are lazy) I took an extra precaution and put the laser into a luggage with out zip so it won't be easy to open, and wrapped the luggage in plastic.
I am currently playing with my laser in Hungary , and it looks real awesome
due to the large distances which we don't have in Malta.
