This review is for the deal extreme 30mw green laser (the one with the crappy button)
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.469
It took exactly two weeks to receive my laser after ordered it
I was very surprised to see that it came in a case (as cheap looking as it was), but it would defiantly protect the laser better during shipping then DX usual method of shipping things in paper envelopes with a little bubble wrap
It also came with two batteries, unfortunately they were alkalines and crappy ones at that, they lasted about 5 minutes, but the laser started running good again when I put in some rechargeables
The laser could put a green dot as far as I could see it at night and fairly far in daylight
The beam was just barley visible at night at my house (about 20 miles from DC) but very solid and bright in complete darkness
The power of the laser appeared to get worse every time I used it and two months after I got it the laser
died (I did use it a lot)
The build quality of the laser was alright although the button was extremely loose when it was new and by the time it broke the button only turned on the laser half the time
The lense often got dirt on it any because it was set back in the laser it was very hard to clean
The driver inside the laser casing is also very delicate and exposed when unscrewing the casing (it comes in half) to change the batteries
I bought it for 18$ (think they 24$ now) so I suppose it was worth it
Seeing what lasers can do firsthand has convinced me to order something that will last a Nova x-75
It hasn't come yet though :(

how is it good if it broke after 2 months?[/quote]
By what people say all DX and KD lasers break eventually

Absolutely true, but I'm still able to sell them for a HUGE profit at school!
