Hi, all! I'm new here and just starting to get into lasers. I've really enjoyed reading the posts on this site and learning what I can about lasers, the different types, sellers, etc.

I'm thinking of buying the O-Like New Style red laser 200mW /adjustable (unless someone can think of a better one around the same price...thought about the Rayfoss RF660-200mw-FWT) and I'm concerned about US Customs. I know it isn't a lot of money for a laser compared to many of them available but it's enough for me right now for a first major laser purchase and I don't want to be out almost $80 (I'm getting the protective glasses also).

Does anyone have any tips for a first time buyer? I've read a bunch on here about separating out into two separate shipments, battery and laser, and that sometimes the companies put a >5mW sticker on bigger lasers. I know that O-Like and Rayfoss aren't as obvious as Wicked Lasers, etc., on labels. Any other tips, concerns, reassurances?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I ordered that exact same laser I think like around 2 years ago or close to that and it still works fine. I asked Susie to ship the the batteries and charger in a separate package just for reassurance though and I think it was six bucks more for doing that. Anyways it got through customs and everything just fine.

Bought the same laser about mid october and it came late november. I had the batteries and charger in same package as lasers and i had no problems. They labeled it as a flashlight and for $20 so they didnt suspect it i guess.
