I just wanted to thank every one here for the great information on lasers and steering me to a x-105. Last night sitting around a campfire in a friend[ch8217]s back yard on a crystal clear Maine night I made ten adults jaws hit the ground in astonishment, no one had seen a laser of this magnitude before. This thing is truly incredible and a lot of fun. I don[ch8217]t have any way to measure its output but I am more than pleased with it. Thanks all. Jay

Amazing! It should have a reading written on the box it came in. What are those stats? And of course you need to give us some pictures!

Yes i have goggles!I dont think i would do any up close and personal burning without them. That green beam is incredibly bright!
I think I would like to have a lab laser somthing to set up on a table and make various fixtures to hold mirrors and defractors.
Just what i need another expensive hobby.... may be ill try to build somthing but i have much reading to do.Lab lasers are very expensive and i would like to have one that is very powerful like 500 mw.

You know this x-105 ia about as much laser as i feel comfortable with around mixed company,I know some of you wil laugh at that but much more power and I would worry too much about safety,,but a powerful lab laser would be a lot of fun.
