Question Powering up a pen style laser?

I finally got the cap off the dang thing, but the insides won't come out. Suggestions?

two things.

1.Post some more info. what pen is it.. what wavelenth, host, power, etc.

2.PICTURES!!! gotta have em.

From the pens I took apart, there where two kinds.
the one with a pressfit module/cap, where I would pull the whole module with the cap, and then need to unscrew the cap from the module (held in with threadlocker). but it would pull out the entire module whole and out of the laser (mostly seen this with those ebay greens)

The second is where the module is pressfitted deep into the laser itself.
This one Is a bit of a pain IMO. I did in two ways.
In the past, ive just used a fiber wheel (those dremel style black disks) and cut apart the pen itself to get into the module.)

The other method is my lathe. I turned the thing and sliced the hell out of the pen, freeing the module easly.

If your pen is the second one I discribed, then I dont know any ways to remove it intact without destroying the pen itself in the process.
(I tried pressing it out, but I would crush the driver board had I done so, seems that little cap used for the side switch will press against and possibly damage an inductor on the driver board if you push it out with those 405nm pens.)

When you get it all out, either use the batteries and a wire to provide power to it, or use a variable power supply with the respective voltage and minumum current requirements of the board.
