Hi all, I'm looking for someone to build me a small laser engraver with an approx 4 x 6 flatbed of working area and must have a working depth of between 1/8 of an inch to 1 and 5/8 height. this meaning the item i need engraved is plastic and is 4x6 inches width length and between an 8th of an inch thick to 1 and 5/8 of inch deep, so the bed must be adjustable. I don't really care how long it takes to engrave the product, so I'm wondering if it is possible to build this using a dvd laser or what else you could come up with would be helpful. I also need this engraver to use a usb interface and be able to run on windows xp and photoshop or another useful graphics program, As far as payment my budget is around 2000 dollars. thankyou

I would need this machine to be dependable, small enough to fit in a carry on bag for airflight. I'm hoping the power of the unit could work on a 15 amp 110 volt outlet. I will also need it to be able to handle a small rotary attachment thanks
